Basic Information Of Parchment Paper

Sheepskin, also known as industrial parchment, is a semi transparent packaging paper used to make books or provide writing materials. It is mainly used for packaging machine parts, instruments, chemical drugs, etc. The main raw materials for manufacturing parchment are chemical wood pulp and rag pulp.
After turning the raw materials into paper sheets, they are then sent to a 72% concentrated sulfuric acid bath for processing for a few minutes, which is called the "parchment paper" process. The characteristics of parchment paper are tight structure, strong oil resistance, waterproof, high wet strength, non breathable, and good elasticity. The paper has undergone sheepskin treatment and has high strength and a certain degree of folding resistance. Can be used as a semi permeable membrane.
