FAQ - Heat & Cold Resistance of Silicone Baking Paper
Q1: What is the maximum temperature this baking paper can withstand?
Our food-grade silicone baking paper is safe for continuous use up to 220°C (428°F). It can tolerate a short-term peak of 230–240°C (446–464°F) for quick baking or grilling.
Avoid prolonged heating above 240°C and direct contact with heating elements or open flame, which may cause burning, curling or coating damage.
Q2: Can this parchment paper be used in freezers?
Yes. It is freezer-safe down to -40°C (-40°F). It works perfectly for freezing dough, patties, fruits and other foods without sticking or cracking.
Note: Baking paper is breathable and ideal forfood separation and quick freezing. It is not a replacement for PE-coated freezer paper for long-term airtight frozen storage, which may cause freezer burn.
Q3: Does low temperature damage the silicone coating?
No. Our premium silicone coating remains stable through repeated freeze-thaw and freeze-to-oven temperature changes, with no peeling or flaking.

Q4: What is the difference between single-sided and double-sided silicone paper in temperature performance?
Both types share the same heat and cold resistance.
Double-sided paper is non-stick on both sides and is more suitable for industrial freezing and daily multi-scene use. Single-sided paper only prevents sticking on the coated side.
Q5: Is this paper food-safe for export and commercial use?
Yes. Our baking paper complies with FDA and EU food contact standards and has passed high-temperature migration testing, ensuring safety for baking, grilling and freezing applications.
